Manual debarker with easy blade change.
The present invention relates to a manual debarker with a toothed roller, which is driven by motor and is rotatably fastened around an axis in a housing with side arms, and with a blade located with a free space parallel to the toothed roller. in a working position and held in a knife housing that is formed from side pieces, fixed on the side arms of the housing, and a knife holder, and the knife housing being fixed in the working position in the lateral arms by means of a releasable locking system and the blade holder can be removed in an open position of the blade housing.
In an animal cutting room, the fat or bark of the animal's body is removed with a manual debarker. However, a manual debarker can also be used to produce thin strips of meat, for example, thin slices of ham or salmon.
SCOPE
The field of application of the present invention is part of the meat industry sector.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The German utility model DE202013100978U1 describes a manual debarker of generic type. In this case, the blade can be changed by unscrewing two locking bolts, then pivoting the blade housing and removing and reinserting the blade.
From the European patent application EP0203716A2 a peeler is known which has a toothed roller and a knife located in parallel. The knife housing has a complicated construction and when the knife housing is released to make a blade change, the toothed roller is also released for replacement. Therefore, the time required for a blade change is relatively long.
In the Spanish application ES1073370U a manual debarker with a toothed roller and a knife located in parallel is described. In this case, a relatively simple blade housing is provided. However, to replace the blade it is planned to unscrew several screws. The device is then impractical for daily use in an exploded room.
A peeler is described in US Pat. No. 4,451,953, in which for the blade change a locking bolt is released and then the blade housing is removed from the housing and the blade is replaced. During the change of the blade parts of the device can be lost, which represents a problem in a slaughterhouse.
EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
It is an objective of the invention to disclose a generic manual debarker that has a very simple construction, in which all the parts of the blade housing are held together and the blade change can be carried out with an easy operation, without a tool.

This objective is achieved by the features of claim 1. In the secondary claims, embodiments of the invention are described.
The manual debarker is provided with a toothed roller that is driven by motor and is rotatably fastened around an axis in a housing with side arms. A blade is located parallel to the toothed roller in a working position such that a free space is created, through which the cut meat slides. The blade is held in a blade housing that is formed from side pieces, fixed on the side arms of the housing, and the knife holder. The blade housing is fixed in the working position on the side arms by a releasable locking system. The blade can be removed from the knife holder in an open position of the knife housing through the clearance that is created after pivoting.
The blade housing lock has been implemented by means of two spring loaded locking bolts, which detachably engage the knife holder through the side arms. The blade housing is released by a decoupling plate, whereby the two locking bolts are lifted by their heads and released together. After releasing, the knife holder is held together in the open position with the sides of the housing. There is no loose piece that can be lost.
The blade housing is advantageously designed so that it can pivot about the axis of the toothed roller from the working position to the open position. In the open position of the knife holder, the releasable locking bolts are raised and the knife holder is pivoted at an opening angle. Therefore, the blade housing is open and the blade can be removed or inserted. This can be easily changed. The opening angle is limited by a stop of the knife holder in the housing.
The fixing of the locking bolts in the closed position is advantageously carried out by gearing the inner ends of the bolts in a safety drill of the knife holder. In this way they hold the blade housing in the working position and the blade is secured. This design minimizes the empty spaces, in which the meat could accumulate. This form allows easy cleaning of the device.
The decoupling plate is pressed in the working position as a decoupling plate against the housing by means of the spring loaded locking bolt heads. This prevents injuries in case of improper handling of the device.
When the locking bolts are released, the decoupling plate is lifted at the front by a grip edge and pivoted around an upper edge that is not attached to the housing. This design is simple and also allows easy cleaning.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The invention is explained in detail below by means of a preferred embodiment with reference to the attached figures. They show:
- Fig. 1 an isometric view of the manual debarker;
- Fig. 2 a side section through the manual debarker in closed position;
- Fig. 3 a side section through the manual debarker in open position; Y
- Fig. 4 a side section through the toothed roller in open position.

blade 2 and the toothed roller 7. The toothed roller 7 is driven by a motor in the handle 10 by means of the auger screw 8 when the activation lever 12 is pressed. The decoupling plate 16 protects against injury. The power supply to the motor is carried out by means of the motor connection 11. The motor can be configured as an electric, pneumatic or hydraulic motor.
In the working position shown, the knife holder 6 and the side pieces 5 are fixed on the side arms 4 of the housing 17 respectively by means of a locking bolt.
The blade housing is composed of its side pieces 5 and the knife holder 6. The blade 2 is held in the knife holder 6. The locking bolts are released when their heads 9 are lifted by the decoupling plate 16. For this purpose, it is it lifts by the leading grip edge 20 and by a rotation of the blade housing around the axis 3 in the arms 4, it is open.
Figures 2 and 3 show side views of the manual debarker 1 with the handle 10, the connection 1 and the activation lever 12. The side arm 4 of the housing 17 is sectioned and is shown with the knife holder 6 and the side piece 5. The knife holder 6 is pivotally fastened around the axis 3 on the side arm 4. The decoupling plate 16 is located between the arms 4 and the heads 9 of the locking bolts 13 and can be pivoted around the edge upper 18, opposite the grip edge 20.
Figure 2 shows the knife holder 6 in the working position. The locking bolt 13, held by the spring 19, engages in the safety hole 15 and fixes the position.
Figure 3 shows the knife holder 6 in the open position. The side pieces 5 are pivoted at the opening angle W. The locking bolt 13 is lifted due to the lifting of the decoupling plate 16 and the pivoting at the edge 18 by the head 9 against the spring 15 and located in the groove 14 The stop for the pivoting movement is given by the glide of the side piece 5 in the arm 4 of the housing.
Figure 4 shows the manual debarker 1 in a view equal to Figure 3, but in this case a section through the toothed roller 7, driven by the worm screw 8 around the axis 3, is shown. The blade 2 in the knife holder 6 is accessible in the open position, shown here, for a change. For this purpose, the locking bolt 13 has been lifted by the decoupling plate 16. Between the blade 2 and the toothed roller 7, the free space which in the working position defines the thickness of the meat strip can also be observed. produced.
